Hi! I'm Jacinta Bos
I'm a 22 year-old freelance photo documentarian who is currently based in Melbourne, Australia.
I was born in Queensland, Australia and grew up in Lutruwita/ Tasmania. I am a portrait photographer who currently focuses their practice on animal rights photojournalism.
I'm finishing up my Bachelor of Fine Arts with Utrecht University/University of Tasmania.
During my degree, I've undertaken an Artist Residency at Brightside Farm Animal Sanctuary which has informed my third year final folio project.
I've also been apart of many exhibition opportunities for my work, with RANT Arts, Art Rage, The Creative Pod, The Tasmanian University Environment Society, etc.
From August-October 2024 I undertook work placement as a visual journalist with the ABC Hobart, with Australian Broadcasting Corporation publishments to my name.
Throughout the first half of 2025, I've been documenting mainly protests and animal saves at slaughterhouses in the Netherlands.
I've practiced in many commercial fields such as weddings, families, events, retail, international journalism, model portfolios, etc.
